I cannot express to you all how sweet Shannon and Daniel made their wedding day. It had nothing to do with the decorations or the venue, it was the pure joy and excitement the two exuded throughout the day! It was also beautiful down to the smallest detail, which never hurts...

Some highlights of the day began with their amazing wedding party. I love when it is evident how much a bridal party loves and respects the bride and groom. I could see it from the moment I arrived at Shannon's family home, her bridesmaids think the world of her and were going to make sure her wedding day was perfect! I found my self getting emotional with the girls as they shared stories and loved on each other throughout the morning.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Shannon first saw herself in her wedding gown. I honestly haven't stopped talking about how sweet of a bride she was, and that moment is a big part of why I feel that way. Shannon slowly turned to the mirror and just let the moment wash over. A smile crept on to her face and she said, "I feel like a bride." I kid you not, I almost teared up right then and there. What so many people don't understand about their wedding day, is that it's up to you to make it magical. If you're zipping through the day eager to get to the next photo op. or the reception, you might just miss it. Shannon completely understood this, and soaked up each special moment. She loved on her bridesmaids, her family, and her sweet husband. Shannon and Daniel brought the magic.

Speaking of magic, can we talk about their first look? Many of my clients opt out of this and want to save their moment for the ceremony (which is amazing too!) However, first looks are a trend I'm really loving. It is honestly so sweet and intimate to watch the bride and groom see each other privately before the ceremony. They whisper sweet words and shed a tear or two. It is a wondrous thing to behold. Daniel and Shannon were so excited and it showed in their photos! We were set up under a lovely pergola and it felt like a scene from The Secret Garden watching the pair interact. You'll see what I mean in a moment...

The Stone's had a lovely ceremony and brought a lot of fun touches to their reception, complete with a Disney cake topper and board game tables for the guests! The first dances were absolutely a highlight and their adorable bubble exit could not have looked better! I wish nothing but happiness to the new Mr. and Mrs. Stone! Now, without any further ado, here are the beautiful photos we captured from their September wedding day!
